Women’s Health Week is an annual health awareness campaign, held every September since 2013. The week encourages women, communities and workplaces to get involved by holding events and sharing health messages.

Women’s Health Week aims to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining good health and wellbeing and preventing future health problems for all women and girls in Australia.

This September for Women’s Health Week, Nutrition Australia NSW partnered with SHARE – a not-for-profit offering community exercise classes to over 50s. Together we held a free morning tea event for women of the Sydney St George area at the Kogarah School of Arts. The day had experts in the field offering top tips on nutrition and lifestyle habits to benefit women through changing life stages and ageing. It was also a great opportunity for members of the community to connect and share.
