| Dried wattleseed powder | 1 tsp |
| Buttermilk (+ extra to brush) | 1 cup |

| Extra virgin olive oil | 1 tbs |

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. |

Sift the self raising flour and salt into a large bowl. Add the dried wattleseed powder and stir to combine. |

Shake the buttermilk well before opening. Make a well in the centre and add the buttermilk and extra virgin olive oil. Use a fork to mix into a soft dough. |

Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until it starts to form a smooth dough. |

Shape into a 15cm rounded disc and place on the prepared baking tray. Brush lightly with buttermilk and bake for 30 minutes or until the bottom sounds hollow when tapped. |

Slice and serve warm with any topping of your choice. |
