| Carrots, grated or finely diced | 2 |
| Red onion, finely diced | 1 |
| Garlic cloves, finely chipped | 1 |
| Smoked paprika | 1 teaspoon |
| Ground cumin | 1 teaspoon |
| BBQ sauce | 1/4 cup |
| Tomato passata | 800mL |
| Four bean mix, drained and rinsed | 800g |
| Grated cheese | 1/2 cup |
| Ciabatta loaf | 1 |
Method

Preheat oven to 180ºC. |

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Add carrots and onions and cook for about 5 minutes until soft. |

Add garlic, smoked paprika and ground cumin and cook stirring for about one minute until aromatic. |

Stir in BBQ sauce, tomato passata and four bean mix and allow to simmer for 5 -7 minutes, then turn off the pan and allow the beans to cool slightly, prior to serving. |

Meanwhile, tear ciabatta loaf into small chunks and place on an oven tray (lined with baking paper). Sprinkle with cheese. |

Bake bread in preheated oven for 10 minutes until crunchy and the cheese has melted. |

Serve baked beans with cheesy bread. |
