Description

A warming soup for a cool winter day

Ingredients

2 onions
1 turnip
1 Carrot
2 celery stalks
375Gramred lentils
300Millilitrewater
700Millilitrevegetable stock (salt reduced)

Instructions

  1. Chop all vegetables and place in pot with lentils, water and stock.
  2. Bring to the boil and simmer for 1 hr, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve when lentils are soft and thick.
