The NLM Facilitator training was designed for Health Promotion Officers in the NSW southern health district, to upskill them to facilitate the NLM program in their local communities.
This course is intended to upskill HPOs who are supporting families of young children in their local communities, and promote the development of healthy eating behaviours in young children.
This program is designed to provide evidence-based information, strategies, and skills to empower HPOs to engage with families early, creating meaningful behaviour changes that promote long-term health outcomes.
The NLM Facilitator training consist of two components. The first component consists of self-paced modules accessed through our multi-media online learning platform, and takes up to 90 minutes to complete.
The second component of the course is the interactive workshop, delivered live online. Access to the online workshop is provided through the online learning platform.
